Happy Father's Day!!

Sometimes your steps are very fast, sometimes they're hard to see;So walk a little slower Daddy, for you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up, You're what I want to be.Then I will have a little child who'll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right, and know that I was true; So, walk a little slower, Daddy, for I must follow you!!
Happy Father's Day from m.Kids
Also...
A special Thank you to all the Fantastic Dads who serve in m.kids each week!
Resource Note for Parents:
Today's Fathers day message was a bold reminder of the challenge parents face to educate our children about Sex and Purity before the world does. Our Guest Speaker, David Wever, has resources available to assist parents in communicating with our kids. Here you can find a guideline for What to discuss and at what age: Age Appropriate Talks
You'll find excellent information to guide you in communicating with your children about the dangers of pornography.

m.Kids get Popping

Keep your popcan tabs and bring them to Mosaic! Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in Charlotte collects Pop Tabs to recycle and uses the money to provide room and board for families who have sick children in the local hospitals. Mosaic will have a collection container for pop tabs in the children's check-in area soon. There just isn't an easier way to help families out than taking 2 seconds to pop a tab! Also, RMH is always looking for groups to provide and serve meals to families staying there- another wonderful opportunity for small group/Team service! For more info check out Ronald Mcdonald Charities website.

http://www.rmhofcharlotte.org/
The first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia in 1974, and there are now more than 276 Ronald McDonald Houses in 32 countries around the world. More than 10 million families have been hosted at Ronald McDonald House facilities worldwide, and every night more than 10,000 beds are available for families away from home seeking medical treatment for their children.
Thanks Lorraine Manion for volunteering as Mosaic's "Pop top Ambassador!"

Every Sunday Volunteers and Staff work together to create the "Mosaic Experience".
We are a Community with a purpose! Our Vision at Mosaic is to help make passionate people in Christ who live by faith, who are known by their love and are a voice of hope.
This Sunday was Awesome!
During Dinner tonight, Mark, the girls, and I were still talking about the excitement of today. As a family serving together, Sundays are sometimes our busiest and longest day of the week. We always have so much to celebrate when the day settles down! New experiences and relationships to share as well as a deeper understanding of how important our efforts really are.
Tonight we made a list together.
We asked them what NEW things they experienced today. A list of how Mosaic Volunteers worked together, in a single service, in support of our common cause.
It was amazing the things my girls added to our quickly growing list.
1. Volunteer Pep Ralley in the gym!
2. Our current Series Tribes began today on a big red couch!
3. Mosaic Worship Team rocked! Beautiful Original Song!
4. Photo booth in the lobby! (A BIG Hit with the girls) Goofy Pics of cummunity everywhere!
5. New Small Groups Launch! Sweet!6. New Worship Media in Discovery Lane! 3 new volunteers training:) Wild Wild west Experience for Kids.

We are a community with a cause!
Every week is new and exciting! God is doing BIG things!
No doubt we will hear some of the stories from today. Some will go unheard. But we are Anticipating Big Things...in the hearts and lives of the City we serve!

Discoverylane Wild Wild West!

Yippee Ti
Yi Yo—Jesus
Can Do
Anything!
Kids are following a sequential view of God’s story from the Bible
throughout the year. During the third unit of the Winter Quarter,
your kids will hear miraculous stories from Jesus’ life that show
He can do anything! Relive the times when Jesus raised Lazarus
from the dead, healed a centurion’s servant, stilled a storm, and
gave sight to blind Bartimaeus.
KEY CONCEPTS:
Jesus can do anything! He always cares for me.
Jesus can do anything! I can ask Him for help.
Jesus can do anything! I can trust Him when I’m afraid.
Jesus can do anything!
Welcome to the Wild,Wild West! During this unit, your classroom will become
the
Yippee Ti Yi Yo Ranch.
The focal point of your teaching area is a campfire. Together we will explore the fact that Jesus can do anything! We can put our trust in Him Alone!
